The John Whitfield room, named after the man who build the house in the late 16th century, is an extremely comfortable large room with ensuite shower room. As seen here in its normal layout of king size (5ft) bed and comfortable sofa and armchairs, it can also accommodate an extra single bed or a cot, to be used as a family room.
