Whitfield Farm is an historic fine timber framed Elizabethan house dating from around 1580. Recent research carried out when the house was renovated, reveals that it stands on the site of an even older house.
The house has been fully restored and sympathetically updated and there is full central heating adding to your comfort during your stay. Whitfield Farm stands in 35 acres of glorious farmland with lovely rural views from all rooms.
Whitfield Farm is situated just outside Biddenden in the centre of the beautiful Weald of Kent. Many famous local features are just a few miles away, from historic gardens (such as Sissinghurst Castle) to the “loveliest castle in the world” (Leeds Castle which is a 20 minute drive away) and other attractions such as the steam trains run by Kent and East Sussex Railway from Tenterden (5 miles distant) which runs to Northiam in East Sussex. The Kent towns of Canterbury, Tunbridge Wells, Hastings and Rye are within easy reach, and sandy beaches at Camber Sands are within 30 minutes drive. There are award-winning vineyards at Biddenden and Lamberhurst which you can visit and taste the wines.
